In February, Missouri TBF will kick off the 2024 Junior and High School Season with a dual tournament at Pomme De Terre Lake. With an eye on getting the anglers to hone their skills on a prime jerkbait and A-rig bite. While the weather may be cold the event will be important for the anglers to start building points for the season to advance to 2024 TBF Junior World Championship or TBF SAF High School National Championship. The month of March quickly brings two more events to build points and momentum for the season.
The full season tournament trail schedule for the anglers is:
- Sunday, Feb 11, 2024 at Pomme De Terre
- Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Lake of the Ozarks (Missouri State High School Championship) – HS only event
- Sunday, March 24 at Lake of the Ozarks
- Sunday, April 28 at Table Rock Lake (Missouri Junior State Championship and regular High School Tournament)
- Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Lake Taneycomo
The anglers have two opportunities to advance to the 2024 TBF Junior World Championship or the 2024 TBF SAF High School National Championship for the division that they compete. For the trail events, ranking will be based upon total AOY points. One team advances for every 20 unique teams in the tournament trail. For the Junior Missouri State Championship and High School Missouri State Championship events one team advances for every 10 teams that compete.
The 2024 Junior World Championship date and lake will be announced in May, 2024. The dual event TBF Student Angler Federation High School Fishing World Finals with the High School National Championship will be held on June 19-22, 2024 at Lake Hartwell, Anderson, SC. The High School National Championship contenders must qualify. The High School Fishing World Finals is open to all TBF Student Angler Federation Members and does not have qualification requirements. So bring your whole High School Team to Lake Hartwell in June.
